About the Future Teachers Conference
The Future Teacher Conference brings together high school and community college students interested in becoming a teacher with UNC students and faculty from the School of Teacher Education, early career teachers, veteran educators, and school administrators for an enriching and engaging day of presentations and workshops. The goal of the Future Teacher Conference is to create a welcoming learning environment and to build a community of learners that will set future teachers on the path to success.
The Future Teacher Conference is a free conference for all high school and community college students. This conference presents an opportunity for students to make connection, gain professional experience, and give them insight into the profession.

How will your gift be used?
Your support will allow the conference to be sustainable for many years to come and will allow high school and community college students the opportunity to learn about the field of education and how UNC can make their educational journey a reality. Donations from this year's Bears Give Back campaign will be allocated to support marketing materials and overall event costs (marketing, keynote speakers, breakfast, conference spaces, and parking).
